Tech is more important than ever at the moment with so many people workng from home and unable to meet up with their colleagues and friends.

To help you all, we've rounded up some of our favourite apps to make working from home that little bit easier:

For meetings
Zoom is a video conferencing app that allows you to have face-to-face or audio calls with up to 100 team mates in one go. It has nifty features such as being able to record sessions for those who can’t make it, screen sharing and group messaging -giving you lots of ways to have really productive meetings. The free version allows up to 40min free meeting, but as the paid for version is only around £20 per month, you’ll quickly find it’s worth an upgrade!

For keeping in touch with your team
Slack is already well known within business circles and lots of remote workers and freelancers have been using this for a while. Conversations happen in channels organised by whatever topic you like; businessrelated, or not -it’s your call! Slack allows for easy communication through calls, chats and sharing GIFs.

For tracking time
Toggl is a great app for keeping track of how much time you spend on different projects. The ability to ‘toggle’ between projects means you can see at a glance how long you are spending on each, and whether it needs tweaking.

For organising workloads
Trello is like a work-based bulletin board. Projects are organisedby different filters such as what is being worked on, who is working on it and at what stage it is in the process. Communication is kept within each project and you can assign tasks to specific Trello users, keeping everything neat and tidy.

For staying sane
Calm is one of the most well known apps out there, often topping recommendation lists for best meditative apps. Although their paid for version is usually around £50

Don't forget, if you need any equipment or supplies while, your working from home, we're here to help.
